What Mitchell Starc Said During the Mid-Innings Break
Mitchell Starc (Delhi Capitals) said, “Feeling pretty hot. The Sunrisers are a powerful side, and powerplay wickets were key. We did a fine job. Getting a five-wicket haul for this franchise in just my second match is a great feeling. There are a couple of young guys around, and at 35, I feel old (laughs).”
On dismissing Head for the sixth time in T20s, he said, “I think that’s why he doesn’t face the first ball anymore (laughs). I have played T20 cricket for over 15 years. Last year was my first season back in the IPL after a long break, and it was great. I try to talk to young players and share my experience whenever I can.”
Mitchell Starc’s fiery spell has given Delhi Capitals a strong grip over the match, leaving Sunrisers Hyderabad with an uphill battle.
