Hetmyer’s innings was almost a one-man army for the Orcas. He came to the crease at a precarious 107 for 4 in the eighth over, with Heinrich Klaasen departing soon after. As the tail began, Hetmyer took it upon himself to hog the strike, meticulously keeping the required run-rate in check. Despite dealing with a persistent niggle that limited his running between the wickets, he exploded at crucial junctures.
